Norman Van Gelder

...feeding the homeless on the streets of downtown Los Angeles and the Venice Beach boardwalk, working with orphanages to provide better conditions for disadvantaged children in Rishikesh and Goa, India, in addition to spending a significant amount of time in Cambodia developing the 501(c)3 non-profit The New Skills Foundation, an organization that assists homeless women and children struggling with HIV/AIDS and drug addiction.

Norman's experience in service in various parts of the world has opened him up to innovative ideas in the creation of delectable menus based on the cuisines of those countries.

such as India, Mexico, Cambodia and Sierra Leone, helping the homeless, the hungry, and orphans by sharing my love through proper culinary education, teaching new skills, nutrition, as well as food safety."


Norman Has Pioneered

his own accredited food safety platform, The ABC Institute for Food Safety and Regulations.
